Bob
has been 'bass' for ever! In
the late 60's he started a band with his mate Titch (sadly now with the
heavenly players), which they called the Titchbeck Reunion. This lasted
as long as it did, and twixt then and now Bob has played with Racing
Cars, Sting Like a Bee and for 12 years he
was with Shaking Stevens.
A Tetley's man at heart, he likes it both at home
with a drop of milk and his favourite rich tea bikkys, or at gigs and
socialising in a pint pot with a good head please bar-steward. (He's also
partial to a slab of strong blue stilton and the odd grope, whoops, grape,
and would love to meet a nympho brewery heiress with an aging sick father).
He's
got a loverly strong thumb action, and he's a fab mover - (check out his
dance routines at the gigs dear fans!). Having
spent quite a while in Epsom, he sounds like a bit of a Posh Bostod, but
he's really gorgeous and soft, and has a very close shave (beautiful smooth
chops and chin), just right for those Christmas, New Year and all year
snogs!
Bob
uses:
A 4-string Jazz bass
and occasionally falls back on a Music Man Sting Ray with a red 1962 Fender
Precision. This all clears its throat through an SVT Ampeg amp and speakers,
OR an EBS TD650 through a 1x15 and 2x10 cab.
